NASH organized the first ever Children's Day in Atlanta, GA.
The event was held at Meadowcreek High School with activities ranging from
dance, singing, and essay competitions, leading up to the performance of Sa-Ri-Ga-Me,
an Indian music troupe in Atlanta, GA.
The funds raised from the event totaled to $1000, which was evenly split
and donated to the following in South India: Visu Education Trust and Amar
Seva (www.amarseva.org).
Our chief guests were retired Police Captain and advocator of Kingian
Non-Violence, Mr. Charles Alphin and Georgia Representative David Casas of
District 103.
International Nite on February 16, 2008 at Meadowcreek High
School from 4pm – 8pm. This is a fundraising event benefiting the Children’s
Healthcare of Atlanta.
